Protesters have marched in Pretoria, Capetown and Durban, denouncing rampant corruption.
The anti-corruption activists say the march was in support of transparent funding models for South Africa’s political parties. They say there is a need to bring an end to state-owned enterprises being used to benefit corrupt individuals.
Since the African National Congress (ANC) took over, corrupt officials are said to have stolen a staggering bn.
Is the ANC to blame? And can the scourge of corruption be stopped?

In a reporter on corruption with countries’ rankings, Transparency International placed Nigeria 136 in the world.
It said there is 94 per cent corruption within the political parties and the Executive Arm of government, 92 per cent in the Nigeria Police Force.
The judiciary and Legislature equally don’t have a good rating at all.

About 20 to 25 per cent of Nigeria’s yearly revenue are stolen or unaccounted for.
In monetary sense, between 150 and 200 billion dollars are said to be stolen between 10 years
President Muhammadu Buhari appears not to be joking about the fight against corruption and when he assumed office his intentions were clear.
A few cases of investigations have commenced but the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) believes, the activities of the anti-graft agencies are directed to harass some of their leaders and members.
Some analysts, a former Minister of Works and chieftain of the PDP, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe and a former member of the House of Representatives and an APC member, Honourable West Idahosa look at the anti-corruption war and the PDP claims.
Senator Ogunlewe suggested that corrupt public officers should be shot if found guilty.

I was hoping for more in dept look at the corruption like which companies benefited from Nkandla and the massive corporate corruption that SA has ; where do political parties get money to spend on the election both ANC and DA supposedly spend more then R100 million on the previous elections and the EFF supposedly R60 million ,where does that money come from. Also the apartheid economic elites gave the ANC elites large shares in companies ,not because their nice people but to merge there interests so ANC elites and apartheid economic elites have the same interest for example Cyril Ramaphosa ,former union leader now billionaire ,1 of the top 5 richest people in SA also vice president of the country.
