This patriotic song was premiered right after September 11, 2001 ( 9/11) and World Trade Center tragedy-aboard the USS Intrepid Sea Air Space Museum in NYC at a “Salute to Freedom Dinner” honoring then New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, Governor George Pataki as well as courageous Firefighters,First Responders, Police, Emergency personnel, Law Enforcement, National Guard, State Troopers and all Ground Zero Responders and civilian heroes. Honors the beautiful 9/11 memorial in Great Neck to firefighter Jonathan Ielpi and fellow firefighters who died at Ground Zero.

“Saving Freedom, Precious Freedom” has been played on the radio including Veterans Radio. It has been showcased at the Soldiers’, Sailors’, Marines’, Coast Guard and Airmens’ Club in NYC at an event honoring the 10th Mountain Division, Merchant Marine Academy on Long Island and in a live performance by Nina Leon at HBO’s New York HQ for a Benefit to support the troops & Vietnam Veterans of America.

“Saving Freedom, Precious Freedom ” is also part of the soundtrack of the HBO-edited DVD “Thank You For Serving” produced by the United War Veterans Council, which has been distributed to troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, ships at sea & in veterans hospitals.
